I was born in Atlanta, GA, and grew up just south of the city in College Park, just minutes from the international airport. My journey with Mills began unexpectedly—I originally came in to buy a vehicle but left with a job opportunity instead. Now, after five and a half years with the company, I’ve developed a true passion for sales. I love that there’s no limit to what I can earn; my success is entirely based on my performance, which keeps me motivated and driven. My goal in this industry is to continuously learn and grow while ensuring that everyone I work with—whether guests or team members—remembers me as someone who is honest, dependable, and great to work with, no matter the circumstances.

Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my wife and four kids. Coaching youth sports is a passion of mine, and I always look forward to being on the field, helping young athletes develop. Growing up in the South, I developed a love for smoked BBQ and good music—both of which are still my go-to for relaxation. Fun Fact: I live by the motto “Failure is NOT an option,” and in my world, “I can’t” doesn’t exist

I’ve had the opportunity to live throughout the Midwest, but I consider Detroit Lakes, Door County, Wisconsin (where I graduated high school in Fish Creek), and now here, home. After spending over 20 years in the restaurant industry—18 of those as an executive chef—I was ready for a change of pace. This marks my fourth week with Mills, and I couldn’t be more excited to be here.

I’ve always loved working with people, and my favorite part of being in sales is the daily interaction with both customers and coworkers. My goal in the automotive industry is to build a successful career as a car salesman and to be a part of the Mills team for years to come—hopefully until retirement!

Outside of work, I’m passionate about the outdoors, especially spending time on the lake. Family and friends mean everything to me. While I don’t have kids of my own, I’m lucky to have three sisters who have given me plenty of nieces and nephews that I love as if they were my own. And though my career path has shifted, my passion for cooking remains strong—it’s something I’ll always enjoy.

Hailing from Brainerd, Troy has a wealth of experience in sales, having helped run two title loan companies and managed a vehicle pawn shop simultaneously in San Diego. A proud graduate of Brainerd Senior High—”Go Warriors!”—he later earned his bachelor’s degree in business from UMD—”Go Bulldogs!”

Troy shares his life with his significant other, Joan, and their two children, a 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy. He’s passionate about fishing, boating, and swimming with his kids, and he jokingly describes himself as “more mad than gardner” in his pursuit of gardening. Troy also looks forward to teaching his kids the art of fishing, aiming to raise them as “disappointed walleye fishermen.”

A fan of classic cars, he appreciates the craftsmanship of vehicles from the past. In his downtime, he enjoys cooking for others and cheering on his favorite teams: the Vikings, Twins, MN Wild, and LA Chargers. With a dynamic personality and a commitment to family, Troy brings a unique blend of expertise and enthusiasm to his role.

I grew up in Duluth, Minnesota. My dad is a diesel mechanic, and my stepdad is a parts and service manager for Ford, so I’ve always been surrounded by the automotive world. That’s what first sparked my interest and led me into the industry about five years ago. What I enjoy most about my role is getting to know every guest and helping in any situation. My goal is to one day become a Parts and Service Director. Outside of work, I love hunting, fishing, camping, and exploring new national parks with my two daughters, ages 12 and 2. Over the years, I’ve built my own custom vehicles and even have a bucket list of special fish I’d like to catch, taking quick trips to different states to cross each one off. A fun fact about me — I have a dog named Sullivan Ray who joins me on many of my outdoor adventures.

I grew up in Brainerd, MN, and my interest in the automotive industry comes from my enjoyment of working with vehicles and tackling the challenges that come with them. I’m brand new to Mills and excited to begin this journey. What I enjoy most about my role is seeing the results of a job well done and building relationships with returning customers. My goals in the industry are to continue learning and growing. Outside of work, I enjoy acrylic painting, fishing, kayaking, riding my electric bike, and traveling. A fun fact about me is that I had the opportunity to go on a cruise to the Bahamas—it was an absolute blast!

Born and raised in Pequot Lakes, MN, I found my way into the automotive industry after a life-changing accident while working my other job. Unable to drive for that position anymore, I sought out a new opportunity and joined Mills, where I’ve been for over a year and four months.

What I enjoy most about my role is the fast-paced environment that keeps me engaged and motivated. My goal in this industry is simple: just to survive and thrive. Outside of work, I’m passionate about shooting sporting clays and am proud to say I’m a two-time Minnesota state champion in the sport.

I believe in the motto, “Wherever you go, there you are,” which serves as a reminder to stay grounded and present in every moment.

I grew up in the Little Falls and Pierz area and graduated high school in Pierz. My dad was a mechanic, and like most kids that age, I started out holding the flashlight for him. That quickly turned into a real love for learning how things work. I started with Mills in late October 2025 after spending 12 years at NAPA, where I really found my passion for helping techs and customers find the parts they need, even if it is not from us. I think people come to me when they are unsure what to do, and I believe that giving guests honest options shows that I care about helping them, not just collecting a paycheck. That approach builds trust and shows I am focused on doing the right thing for the guest. I love building things with my hands and take a lot of pride in accomplishing something others say cannot be done. I have also been a firefighter, first responder, and EMT for 13 years, which reflects how important helping the community is to me. Outside of work, I am really into Star Wars, something I shared with my daughter and still enjoy today
